Kielder Kip Cottage

I recently stayed at Kip Cottage for a relaxing getaway and it was perfect! The cottage has been beautifully refurbished and the cozy log burner made for a wonderful evening in. The bathroom was luxurious, with a large tub and spacious shower. The location was ideal, just a short distance from the lake and castle. The owner added personal touches like a welcome message, as well as wine, chocolates, and fresh scones. They even catered to dogs with bowls and towels. It truly felt like a home away from home.

The cottage had a beautiful garden and great facilities, especially the shower and bath. It was located in a remote area which was perfect for getting away from it all. Plus, the owner went above and beyond with little touches like wine, chocolates, and freshly baked scones. It was a luxurious and restful holiday.

It would have been even better if there had been a dishwasher. But overall, it was a small gripe in an otherwise perfect stay.

I absolutely loved the cozy and welcoming atmosphere of this cottage. The decoration was charming and had a lovely traditional feel to it. It felt like a home away from home, with comfortable furniture and beautiful touches throughout. The general areas of the cottage, including the garden, were well-maintained and provided a peaceful and relaxing environment. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the cottage, with everything conveniently located on one level, making it easy for me to navigate and enjoy my stay.

If I had to ask for one thing to make the vacation even better for senior people like myself, it would be helpful to have the children working there assist with some of the heavier tasks, such as carrying luggage or helping with groceries.
